We are excited to announce that OrbusVR: Reborn will officially launch in April 2019! Although we are still determining the exact release day, we know that many of you have been asking about our timeline, so we wanted to provide an update — especially as April is outside of the original Q1 2019 launch date we projected last fall.

Pre-Launch Schedule

We’ll be hosting two more beta tests before the game’s release, which means two more chances to play the game and provide feedback. The final two beta tests are scheduled for:

• February 22 - 25
• March 25 - April 8 (extended beta period)

These will be closed beta tests, and will only be open to current owners of OrbusVR. If you don’t own the game and want to participate in the beta tests, you can purchase the original version of the game now to have access during the beta periods. (As OrbusVR: Reborn will be a free update for all existing OrbusVR owners, you would essentially be pre-purchasing the game.) We will also be hosting an open beta test March 29 - 31.

The servers for the current game will be shut down April 1 at 11:59PM CST. As a reminder, all of your existing characters, equipment, and progression will follow from the current version of OrbusVR into Reborn when it launches.

As the final release date for OrbusVR: Reborn will be contingent on the last stages of development, we’ll post an announcement with an exact date on the blog at the beginning of April.
