I’m Mathieu, and I’m very excited to become the new Community Manager for OrbusVR.
The team has been working really hard in preparation for us entering Early Access, and I’ll be spending a lot of time with you here and elsewhere in the community, getting to know you better and being there to collect feedback and handle issues.
If you’d like to know a little bit more about me, I’m from the Snowy Lands of Forever Winter (Canada) and have been PC gaming since I was a kid. I’ve enjoyed playing pretty much all types of games and am always looking for innovation, so I think VR is particularly exciting since it’s a brand new experience. I’ve also tried most of the big traditional MMORPGs out there and VR feels like it could be the natural next step for the genre.
I’ve always believed that the best way to serve the community is by being transparent, positive and thinking of you as peers. I was very proud to be part of the communities I’ve been in and you look like a fantastic group of people.
For the very near future, I’ll be standing behind the scenes and observing, but once the next beta version comes out, I’ll be around to gather all of the feedback and help grow the community.
